I am currently a freelance writer/creative director based in Minneapolis, MN. I spent the last 11 years as a writer/creative director at MONO, a branding agency in Minneapolis. I worked on a ton of different brands while I was there, including: Google, Target, Apple, Walmart, Sherwin Williams, Propel Water, Miller Coors, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN, Sperry, Herman Miller, MSNBC, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day, Manitoba Harvest, Children’s of Minnesota, GOOD Magazine and Sprout Network.

I began my career as a copywriter at Fallon/Minneapolis where I worked on accounts including BMW, Timex, Starbucks, Weyerhaueser Paper Co. and Strohs Brewery.  From there, I went to Merkley & Partners in NY, working on another car I couldn’t afford, Mercedes-Benz, as well as Partnership for a Drug Free America, Fila and Bellsouth.

After that, I spent time at Olson and Carmichael Lynch Thorburn in Minneapolis, working on advertising and design, and over 3 years at digital shop space150 in Minneapolis, working on accounts including Target, Dairy Queen, Best Buy and the Starz network. 

I’m proud, and lucky, to have been recognized numerous times in the One Show Advertising, Design and Interactive Annuals (including winning a Gold and Bronze pencil) , as well as the Webby’s, Communication Arts,  Cannes, D & AD, Clios, Art Directors Club of NY, The Effies, Archive Magazine, FWA Site of the Day, the Kelly Awards, the Minneapolis Show, the National Addy’s and the National AIGA design competition. 

I like to make things. And most of those things turn out pretty good. Note: the ones that didn’t were not included on this website. 

It’d be fun to work together on something.
